Hope Football Academy

Hope Church Newham’s football academy uses sport as a tool to engage with young people, enabling them to develop self-esteem, social responsibility, and life skills. This includes the concepts of teamwork, leadership, self-control, making good choices, developing aspirations and respect.

Hope Church Newham’s football academy is a place where children can come to develop their football skills and hear about God.

What happens at a Hope Football Academy session?

We start all of our sessions with a warm up to get everyone moving.
We move on to improving our football skills.
We have a brief team talk about various topics including Teamwork, Respect, Sportsmanship. We look at how to improve ourselves in these areas on and off the football pitch.
We finish each session with football matches.

There is space for parents sit and have a drink while the session takes place, or you can leave your children for the allotted time and run errands. Rest assured your children are in a safe-guarded environment.
