Dear Hope Church,

‘Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand’ (Isaiah 41v10)

I am writing to let you know some very exciting news for Hope Church.

We will start meeting again in person as Hope Church on Sundays at Stratford Circus from sometime towards the end of May.

We will let you know which Sunday will be the first when further details have been worked out. We will keep you updated in the coming weeks.

I know that for some of us we are desperate to get back to meeting together in person and there are others who are probably still very cautious. The key thing to remember is that we are to do this together. We have had over a year of living life as it was never intended to be (in isolation) and it is going to take everyone choosing to step out courageously into this new season ahead.

I’m sure many of you will have lots of questions, but don’t worry as we are planning on sending out a lot more information over the coming weeks – further video updates, blogs, letters with key dates and Q&A documents to keep you fully informed.

We really will need everyone’s help over the coming season. Almost all our Sunday teams will need new volunteers -we can’t make this happen unless all of us step up and help. So, I would like all of us to consider stepping forward and serving on a Sunday team for at least the next six months so we can get things up and running? Longer term we can find different ways for you to serve which may be more appropriate for you, but in the short term, we just need to get things up and running. Would you be willing to serve in that way? If so can you message admin@hopechurch-newham.com. If you are unsure which team would be best to serve on we can give you a suggestion / list of options when you contact us.

Well done everyone for all your faithfulness during this strange season we have been in and let’s look forward to the new season that is coming, and all that God is going to do in and through us!

God bless,

Mark Waterfield and Leadership Team
