January / February Update

A belated Happy New Year to everyone!

On Saturday 16th January 10am at Stratford Circus there is a very special Women’s Prayer Breakfast. There will be coffee, tea, croissants, the chance to pray together at the start of 2016 and some exciting news! Hope Church women – don’t miss it!

From Monday 25th January – Saturday 6th February there will be a Hope Church Fortnight of Prayer and Fasting. If you have never fasted before I would encourage you to try fasting by missing a meal, fasting from social media, fasting from television, etc.. When we fast we make ourselves dependant on God, it frees up time, realigns our priorities, enables us to feast on the word of God and things happen!

During the Hope Church Fortnight of Prayer & Fasting we will be praying together in Community groups, there will be the Engage Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 3rd February and we are planning a half night of Prayer on Friday 5th February.

On Sunday 7th February 2016 Hope Church celebrates its 6th Birthday!!

Do make it a priority to come along, invite friends and celebrate all that God has done over the last 6 years – it has been an incredible journey of God’s faithfulness and provision. It is so important to look back on all that God has done and then turn to look to the future and know that God will guide our path every step of the way.

Do continue to pray for Hope School into 2016 and all that God is doing. Hope School takes place Monday to Friday 10am-12noon at Ithaca House on Romford Road and is a such a blessing to so many from different nations who come to learn English. I really believe that Hope School is going to have a very significant impact locally and even across the nation. Do pray for Andy for wisdom for the future as things continue to grow and develop.

The Hope Church early morning weekly prayer meeting continues 7-8am on Friday mornings at the Church office, Ithaca House, 27, Romford Road, Stratford. Do come before work, university, the school run, etc.. and pray!

I thank God for each of you – the way you serve and bring so much to the Church.

You are all wonderful gifts from God.

Love and prayers,

Mark
